Peter Tonagh is recognized globally as one of the media industries leading executives. Peter is Deputy Chairman of the Australian Broadcasting Commission, non-executive Director of Quantium Group and Chairman of Bus Stop Films.

In 2018 he lead the National Broadcaster Efficiency Review of the ABC and SBS on behalf of the Department of Communications and the Arts. Peter previously worked for News Corporation entities for nearly fourteen years in senior executive roles across each of the key Australian businesses, including as Chief Executive Officer of each of Foxtel, REA and News Corp Australia, where he drove major M&A and cultural transformation in each business.

 

Peter holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of New South Wales and a Masters of Business Administration from INSEAD, Europe’s leading business school, where he graduated on the Dean’s Merit List.
